Strasbourg is an important French city primarily known for hosting numerous European institutions. It is a very fascinating tourist destination too mainly for two reasons. The first is its gorgeous historical center, the Grande Île. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO (1988) and can be totally explored walking or by bike in a few days. The second is because of the neighborhood diversities that make up the spot. It is one of the nine biggest municipalities in France with around 500 thousands inhabitants.
